OCD has two sides to knowing that someone has OCD. Most people who have OCD has symptoms which are called either obsessions or compulsions.
OBSESSIONS: Obsessions are unwanted thoughts, images or impulses that appear in the mind and can cause a huge amount of anxiety or distress.
COMPULSIONS: Compulsions are on purpose behaviors such as washing, checking and ordering. Or mental acts for example is counting and repeating phrases, that are carried out to reduce anxiety from the obsessions.
